Our Role
The Technology Services group
of University Information Systems (UIS) provides high-quality technology products
and responsive, customer-oriented services, including printing and publication

Technology Services' organizational units
and service offerings are summarized below, with links to more detailed information.
- Through the Technology
Product Center (TPC), departments and individuals can purchase desktop
computers, servers, software, peripherals, and accessories at educational
prices.
- Working with the Software
Licensing group, Harvard departments and affiliates can achieve dramatic
savings when purchasing software licenses and media with institutional funds.
- Repair Operations provides warranty
repairs and post-warranty
service for leading vendor hardware.
- Desktop
and LAN support is also available, on a contract basis, to Harvard departments
and affiliates.
- Harvard
Printing and Publication Services (HPPS) offers digital
print and copy, production and distribution of CoursePacks,
and Harvard business cards
and stationery.
