Welcome to Harvard University's Telecom services. Telecom provides University-wide and HSPH services to Faculty and Staff for telephones, cellular devices, and other critical communications services. Telecom offers full life-cycle management of these services, including: ordering and provisioning, billing and reporting, telecom expense management programs, and evaluation of new communications solutions.

Telephone Services

Telephone Services include phones throughout campus, voicemail, emergency phones and specialty services such as Contact Center to support departmental main numbers. Our Wire and Cable group assists Harvard departments with all of their wiring needs.

Cellular Services

Telecom manages discounted cellular services to Faculty and Staff for Harvard cellular devices. Verizon Wireless is our primary vendor, though limited services are offered with AT&T. Key benefits include:

• Savings – Maximize discounts by using the best negotiated rates. Telecom proactively reviews services to always make sure new and current customers are on the most cost effective plans.
• Simplicity - It is easy to order wireless service for your department and have it billed directly to a 33-digit billing code.
• Responsiveness – Telecom will assist you in selecting the device and plan most suited to your needs. We can help to ensure a quick resolution to any problems or concerns that may arise.
• Flexibility- If you do not want a yearly agreement, Telecom offers short-term rentals for domestic and international wireless phones.

Orders for managed Harvard paid devices are submitted to Telecom by your School/ Department's authorized contact and require a 33-digit billing code.

Departments who need cellular service not offered through Telecom may leverage the Harvard negotiated rates by working directly with our partnered cellular providers.

Additionally, all of our cellular partners offer discounted rates for personal use for anyone affiliated with Harvard University.

Other Communications Services

Telecom offers additional communications services such as: Audio Conferencing, Calling Cards, and Directory Services.
