Telecom Billing Requests

For All Requests:
- All
requests must originate from the department's telephone
contact. Send in writing to telecom_billing@harvard.edu.
To obtain the name of your telephone contact, just send
an email or call us.
- Please
provide your telephone number or email address.
- All
requests received after the 18th of each month will be handled
on a first come-first served basis, and may not be completed
before the next billing cycle.
- Any
billing disputes need to be brought to Telecom Billing's
attention within 60 days
For
Billing Code Changes:
- All
requests must originate from the department's telephone
contact. Send in writing to telecom_billing@harvard.edu.
To obtain the name of your telephone contact, just send
an email or call us.
- Please
provide your telephone number or email address.
- All
requests received after the 18th of each month will be handled
on a first come-first served basis, and may not be completed
before the next billing cycle.
- Any
billing disputes need to be brought to Telecom Billing's
attention within 60 days
- Be
sure to include the current 33-digit coding and the new
33-digit string. If the new billing code belongs to a different
telephone contact, approval is needed before the financial
coding change can be processed.
- If
you would like a GLOBAL change, please note that on the
initial request
(a global change allows you to change the billing on ALL
items associated with a specific billing code to the new
billing code you are requesting.)
- Note
that a requested change in billing code for a telephone
number may also require changes in associated telephone
items (e.g. usage, jacks).

Calling Card Requests:
- All
requests must originate from the department's telephone
contact. Send in writing to telecom_billing@harvard.edu.
To obtain the name of your telephone contact, just send
an email or call us.
- Any
billing disputes need to be brought to Telecom Billing's
attention within 60 days
- Please
be sure to provide:
1. Name of the individual who will be using the card
2. Address where card should be sent
3. 33-digit account code to which the card will be billed
4. Your telephone number or email address
- Calling
card requests are processed within 3 to 5 business days
For
Authorization Codes:
- All
requests must originate from the department's telephone
contact. Send in writing to telecom_billing@harvard.edu.
To obtain the name of your telephone contact, just send
an email or call us.
- Please
provide your telephone number or email address.
- Any
billing disputes need to be brought to Telecom Billing's
attention within 60 days
- Please
be sure to provide:
1. Name of the individual who will be using the code
2. 33-digit account code to which the auth code calls will
be billed
3. Your telephone number or email address
- Auth
code requests are processed within 3 to 5 business days
Bill
Distribution:
- Billing
statements are distributed by the 12th of the month
- Contact
telecom_billing@harvard.edu to discuss options for receiving
a generic data file for telephone billing
- Reprints
of statements which are over 10 lines or more than two (2)
months old will be assessed a one-time charge of $70.
