Telecom Billing Requests

If
your Sponsored Account is about to close and you want to change
the account coding so charges no longer post to this sponsored
account, please notify us by the 18th of the month.
Below are the procedures to follow to change the account that
is currently being used:
- The
Department's telephone billing contact sends an e-mail
request to telecom_billing@harvard.edu.
All requests received after the 18th of each month will
be completed in the next billing cycle. Write to this email
address or call us on 5-5457 if you don't know your contact's
name.
- The
contact provides his/her telephone number, e-mail address,
and the current and the new 33-digit GL code(s). If all
charges on the current GL should be changed to a different
GL code, simply state this is a GLOBAL change from the old
to the new code (note: charges could include recurring
charges for lines, sets, voicemail, calling cards, jacks,
usage, one time charges, etc.) If charges will be split
among several GL codes, please be sure to give us the name,
the item detail (e.g. telephone line #, usage), and the
old to new GL codes.

telecom_billing@harvard.edu AND cc: valerie_keogh@hms.harvard.edu.
