i3CallDirect Platform Overview

The i3 System, using the CallDirect Feature, can route calls to specific extensions both on and off campus. The routing would be based on one or more of the following criteria:

  • Time of Day
  • Day of Week
  • Day/Week of Month
  • Holiday Schedules
  • Emergency/Disaster Recovery Schedules

All the criteria listed are custom created based on the Customers’ business requirements. The CallDirect Platform can be very specific. It will allow for an unlimited amount of routing schedules for a single direct dial number based on one, some or all of the aforementioned criteria. Multiple lines can be forwarded to a single CallDirect Platform.
This platform can also be used as an IVR (Integrated Voice Response) Application. This would allow callers to hear a menu of options that lead to specific informational recordings and/or submenus with additional options.
The uses described above can also be combined into one platform, so that both call routing and informational recordings can be offered within the same menu of options.
