You may turn message

your system, you will go directly to "General Options"
by pressing "4-2."
4-3
GREETINGS
Your
greeting is played to anyone who calls or transfers to your mailbox.
Use the greetings menu to change your personal greeting, record an extended
absence greeting or re-record your name.
4-4
NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE
Outcall
notification is most often used by subscribers who are frequently out
of the office and want to be informed of new messages by either pager
or cellular phone. The system allows you to set two permanent and one
temporary schedule.
You can use one
or all three schedules, or you can choose not to use this feature at
all.
4-6
SECURITY OPTIONS
When
you activate this feature, the system prompts you to record your name
and the time of day each time you enter your mailbox.
The next time you
enter your mailbox, the system plays the previous recording. When someone
attempts to access the mailbox and the name and time are not recorded,
you should suspect an unauthorized entry attempt. Should this occur,
change your password immediately and notify the system administrator.
4-6-1

disabled, the system will no longer record your spoken name or time/date

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE OPTIONS
General
administrative options provide access to your password, group lists,
prompt levels, date and time playback and to your application mailbox.
These elements of your mailbox "environment" may be set and
changed to suit your messaging style.
4-3-1
PERSONAL GREETING
This
greeting is a recording created by you that callers hear when you are
unavailable to answer your phone. This gives callers more detailed information
about when you are likely to respond to messages.
4-3-2
EXTENDED ABSENCE GREETING
This
greeting advises callers and users that you are away from the office
and checking your mailbox infrequently (if at all). When engaged, it
temporarily replaces your personal greeting. Each time you enter your
mailbox, the system tells you that your extended absence greeting is
in place. This is a reminder for you to turn it off when you are back
to work.
4-3-3
NAME RECORDING
When
another user of the system creates and sends you a message, or when
they use the spell by name feature, the system plays your name (which
you record) confirming your mailbox number. When you initially configure
your mailbox, you are prompted to record your name. By pressing "4-3-3",
you can re-record your name.
4-4-1
FIRST NOTIFICATION
SCHEDULE
The
notification schedules tell the system where (what phone number) to
direct your outcall notification.
Using
the first and second notification schedules allows you to define one
destination for week days and another for weekends. Another typical
usage of this feature is to specify the receipt of all messages during
schedule one (weekday) and only urgent messages during schedule two
(weekends).
4-4-2
SECOND NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE
The
notification schedules tell the system where (what phone number) to
direct your outcall notification.
Using the first
and second notification schedules allows you to define one destination
for week days and another for weekends. Another typical usage of this
feature is to specify the receipt of all messages during schedule one
(weekday) and only urgent messages during schedule two (weekends).
4-4-3
TEMPORARY NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE
If
you set a temporary schedule, you must also indicate the length of time
it will be in effect. During this period, the temporary schedule will
override the other two schedules. Upon expiration of the temporary schedule,
schedules one and two will be automatically reinstated.
