Using outcalling notification

If you are frequently away from your office- or need to be accessible to callers on evenings or weekends -- you can arrange to have the voice mail system notify you when a new message arrives. By allowing you to customize two different "notification schedules," this feature lets you define two different scenarios for where, when, and under what circumstances you will be notified of a voice mail message.

For example, you could use Notification Schedule 1 to define a destination (such as a cell phone number) where you can be reached on weekdays and Schedule 2 to define a different destination, such as your home phone, where you can be reached on weekends. Another use would be to specify notification for all messages received during the weekday and only urgent messages on weekends.

An additional feature is a temporary notification schedule that will override your two ongoing notification schedules. When the temporary schedule expires, the other schedules are reinstated.

To define Notification Schedule 1, press 4-4-1

To define Notification Schedule 2, press 4-4-2

To define Temporary Schedule 3, press 4-4-3

The system will prompt you to input the number of days you want the temporary schedule to be in effect.

To turn Notification on or off, press 4-1
