Reviewing and responding to messages

You don't always have the time or inclination to listen to your messages one by one, in the order they were received. These controls help you quickly access the messages that are most important to you.

To review new, unheard messages, press 1-1

To review new messages and previously saved messages press 1

To skip to the next message, press #

To skip ahead to previously saved messages, press #-#

To save a message press 9

To erase a message press 7

To cancel an operation or return to the main menu, press * until you reach the main menu.

To restart a messaging session by returning to the initial Harvard voice mail greeting, press 5.

Take care of it now! Voice mail allows you to respond in real time to the messages you receive.

To immediately record and send a reply to another subscriber's voice mailbox, press 8

To immediately telephone another subscriber who has left you a message press 8-8. NOTE: Doing this logs you out of voice mail.

To forward a copy of a message, with your own introduction attached, press 6
