Who is eligible to purchase:
Members of the Harvard Affiliated Hospitals are eligible to purchase products through Technology Products and Services (TPS). Eligibility to purchase products from vendors represented at TPS varies by manufacturer and may require a Harvard University ID (HUID).

Orders placed through TPS will be reviewed for eligibility when they are processed. TPS reserves the right to cancel any order that does not meet the eligibility requirements. Click here to view the eligibility chart for Harvard Affiliated Hospitals.

How to order:

  • Click here to view the Price List for Harvard Affiliated Hospitals. You will need a Harvard University ID and PIN or ecommerce ID and PIN to access our price list.
    If you cannot access the price list and have questions regarding your eligibility please email or call 617-496-7483.
  • Create a sales quote request. Select the product item(s) numbers, and quantity you would like Technology Products and Services (TPS) to include on the quote.
    Prices are subject to change.
  • Email the sales quote request to software_licensing@harvard.edu.
  • A member of TPS team will create the sales quote within one (1) business day and email back to the requestor.
  • Once the requestor receives the quote from TPS, the requestor will need to submit the quote to their purchasing department agent. The purchasing department agent from the Harvard Affiliated Hospital must then provide a digital copy of a purchase order (PO) to TPS, which should include the following:
    • Product item number(s)
    • Quantity
    • Contact Person and phone number
    • Shipping Information
    • A valid Harvard ID (s) for each license purchased
    • Email Address of customer receiving license(s).

Purchase order requests placed through TPS will be reviewed for eligibility when they are processed. Any missing information will delay the process. TPS reserves the right to cancel any order that does not meet the eligibility requirements.

Order Fulfillment:

Purchase orders with completed information and eligibility will be processed in one (1) business day unless a product is on back order or is a special ordered item.

  • An email order confirmation will be sent to the purchasing agent once order has been fulfilled or is ready for pickup.   The customer will receive license voucher, redemption code, certificates or confirmation through email.
  • You are strongly encouraged to keep a copy of all invoices for software licensing purchase so you can:
    • Document proof of purchase for warranty purpose
    • Document licensing compliances in the event of a software license audit

    Shipping:
    Software Licensing orders are shipped via UPS and Harvard University Mail Services (HUMS).We ship to the 48 contiguous states, Alaska and Hawaii. We DO NOT ship to APO or P.O. boxes nor do we ship to international addresses; a complete U.S. street address and phone number is required at the time of order.

    For all orders there is a nominal shipping charge of $5.00. UPS Overnight deliveries are available for an extra charge. >Please call for more information.

    Pickup:
    Orders are available for pick-up at Technology Products and Services located at 219 Western Avenue in Allston by the authorized purchaser whose name is on the order.  Orders will not be released to anyone other than the person whose name is on the order.  A Harvard or affiliate picture ID will be requested at time of pick up.

    Return Policy
    SOFTWARE: Current versions of unopened software may be returned within 15 days of purchase for a full refund when accompanied by the Technology Products and Services sales receipt. Technology Products and Services cannot accept returns on open box software.

    DEFECTIVE SOFTWARE: Defective software will be exchanged for the same title and version within 15 days of purchase when accompanied by the Technology Products and Services sales receipt.
