Professional Training and Development

Harvard’s Tuition Assistance Plan (TAP)

TAP is a great way to enhance your career skills or pursue a personal academic interest. As a benefit of employment at Harvard, TAP allows you to take certain courses for a nominal fee. Many UIS staff members take classes at the Harvard University Extension School, Radcliffe Seminars, or some of the other graduate schools and affiliated institutions at the University. You can find more information about the Tuition Assistance Plan by visiting http://harvie.harvard.edu/learning/educationassistance/tapbooklet/.

Center for Workplace Development

Harvard's Center for Workplace Development (CWD) offers a wide range of professional, managerial, career development and computer courses for staff. You can find more information about the Center's currently offerings by visiting HarvIE or CWD's website. Most courses are held at 124 Mt. Auburn St., 3rd floor.
