About Policies
As needs arise, UCIO management will publish policies on a variety of topics in the areas of Finance and Human Resources.
These policies will be developed to assist management and staff in making business decisions, determining appropriate behavior, and assigning responsibilities in the areas of spending, financial and business management, and operational/administrative procedures.
Some policies are designed to address specific situations unique to the Office of the University CIO, while others are merely a clarification or further definition of an existing University-wide policy.
Many of the policies listed to the left are still under development and review. In addition, existing policies may be updated from time-to-time. Staff will be notified at the time of policy implementation or change and will be asked to visit the web site to obtain the required information.
