Outside Vendor Services
While having Harvard Centrex telephone service (5-digit dialing for university numbers) PaeTec customers are offered long distance plans to choose from. Customers who wish to maintain a Centrex line and use a long distance service other than what is offered at PaeTec will need to use the following guidelines:

  • Obtain a calling card or access number from the outside carrier
  • Arrange direct payment with the carrier for their service such as checks or credit cards

MONTHLY FEES FROM OUTSIDE VENDORS MAY NOT BE CHARGED TO HARVARD PHONE NUMBERS

This policy applies to any service outside of Harvard that offers to place monthly charges onto a telephone bill. For example, outside Internet services from companies like AOL, or Sprint long distance services.
