Personal Billing Codes (PBNs)

What is a PBN?
A Personal Billing Code (PBN) is an 8-digit billing code that allows you to make calls from anywhere and have those calls billed directly to your individual account. Each individual with a PBN receives his/her own monthly PaeTec phone bill.

How to obtain a PBN?

To request a PBN, call PaeTec at (800) 960-6555 or request it on-line here. There is no charge for PBN activation, but usage of your PBN indicates acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Surcharges apply when used from payphone.

Safeguarding your PBN

You are responsible for all calls made with your PBN, so keep the number confidential just as you would a bankcard PIN number. If your PBN is lost or stolen, notify PaeTec immediately.

Fraudulent use of a PBN is a criminal offense under federal and state laws. If you suspect your PBN has been used fraudulently, report your concern to the PaeTec within 30 days of receiving your bill.
