Financial Applications support

****Concurrent with the 11i upgrade to the Oracle Financials on December 2, users of these systems will need to be upgraded to version 1.1.8.19 of J-initiator from the current 1.1.7.27 version. It is recommended to install the new version in advance of the upgrade by downloading and installing the plug-in. Having more than one version of J-initiator installed on a desktop will cause no problems since the application determines which version to use.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Help Desk at 6-2001.

When you need information or assistance with Harvard Financial Applications, we recommend that you first visit the ABLE web site, which provides a wealth of online support resources.

If you can’t find the information you need on ABLE, call the UIS Helpdesk at 496-2001 during weekday business hours or send us e-mail at helpdesk@harvard.edu.

The Helpdesk provides both technical and end-user support for the following financial applications:

·         General Ledger
·         Budget Tool
·         PCard (Purchasing Card)
·         HUDINI
·         Web Voucher
·         Administrator’s Workstation 2

There is no charge when you use this service. Any staff or faculty member who is authorized to use these applications may call us for assistance. If the problem turns out to be a desktop, LAN, or network issue rather than a CA application issue, we will refer you to the appropriate resource.
