Support Services: Harvard-Wide Support
The staff of the Help Desk provides support to any Harvard faculty, staff
or students, who need assistance with the use of various Financial Administration and Human
Resources applications. These applications require specific computer configurations to run
properly. Please visit the ABLE website and click on
the current desktop standards link for more information.
The Help Desk business hours for Harvard-Wide Support are:
- Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Help Desk provides Harvard-wide application support Harvard financial, human resource and reporting applications. Incidents that are not resolved at the Help Desk are referred to the application owners.
Financial
Technical assistance for the functional usage of Financial applications including; Accounts Receivable, CAPS, Chart of Accounts, Electronic Shop & Pay, Fiscal Budget Tool, General Ledger, Sponsored Budget Tool
HR Applications
Technical assistance for the functional usage of Human Resource applications including; PeopleSoft, Employee Self-Service, Time & Labor, Absence Management, HIRES, Hiring & Personnel Actions
Note: All payroll and processing issues are handled by University Financial Services (UFS). UFS can be reached at 617.495.3001
Reporting
Technical assistance for the functional usage of reporting applications including;
CREW, Financial Report Catalog, PeopleSoft
