Supported Software and Hardware

DLS supports a variety of desktop and networking software products for Windows and Mac environments. Covered products fall into two broad categories -- Standard and Non-Standard -- as described below.

To find out if a specific product is supported, contact DLS by e-mail or phone.

Standard products
Standard products are those that are most widely used at Harvard, such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Netscape Navigator, and MacOS. For these products, DLS has extensive skills and expertise and can provide in-depth assistance.

Current Standard Hardware and Software

If you need assistance in ordering hardware, please contact dls@harvard.edu or 617-495-8411. To view specs on hardware please visit the TPC site at http://www.uis.harvard.edu/technology_services/

Supported products
Supported products tend to have a specific use within a business but are less widely used than standard products. Examples include Adobe PhotoShop and PowerSoft InfoMaker. For these products, we can provide software installation and basic troubleshooting assistance.
