Our Partners
To provide maximum flexibility, WDS provides two relationship models for working with our customers. The best option will depend upon your group's specific web development and support requirements. WDS regards all customers as important and will work closely with them to meet all of their web needs and provide timely support.
WDS Traditional Partners...pay by the project
Our Traditional Partners tend to be primarily interested in an easy mechanism for supporting their site and the ability to address additional development needs as they arise. To accommodate this type of customer, WDS allows customers to purchase web services based upon an expected number of content changes, and to then treat all larger activities as projects, which are billed on a time and materials basis. This relationship model is ideally suited for web sites with a limited need for ongoing development. Though they may have a large volume of content changes, sophisticated sites, and complicated development projects, they do not need a strategic partner.
WDS Select Partners...debit from your allocation
While the Traditional Partner model will suffice for some customers, others require a more active partner, one who helps insure that the strategic needs of their organization are furthered by their web presence. For these customers, WDS offers the Select Partner program. WDS addresses your development needs not as a series of "one-off" projects, but as a set of solutions working to meet your business goals. To deliver service in this manner, contracts with WDS are established based on forecasted development needs converted into time/days, then calculated as a percentage of a full time WDS developer. The Select Partner program is geared primarily toward customers with large, complex web sites with significant ongoing development needs. Typically these websites are an essential component of the customers business, service, or educational goals.
Different Models...same professional service
Both of these approaches provide the same base level of professional hosting, infrastructure maintenance, and web site development and support services. The two models vary only in the degree to which WDS is engaged in developing a strategic approach to your web-based business needs and the rate model for supporting development and content changes.
